Betfred The Bonus Stakes Betting
The Betfred Bonus Stakes is the first race on day 3 of the 2011 Glorious Goodwood meeting and should get the days racing off to a flying start. The race itself is for three year olds and is ran over just over a mile so we could well see some of the better horses of that age take their places in the field. We saw the impressive Roman Republic take the win in 2009 for Mark Johnston and we are hoping for another exciting renewal in 2011.
The Luca Cumani trained Fulgur looks to have a nice chance here with Kieren Fallon on board, he won well last time when winning at Newmarket and could improve again here making him the one to beat.

Roman Republic was the first to show on the home straight with the favourite Mirrored hot on his heels. Roman Republic stayed really well and was able to hold off the favourite along with the late charge from Sopranist and River Captain.
