Richmond Stakes Betting 2011 - Harbour Watch Hacks Up
The Richmond Stakes is a Group Two race over 6 furlong’s for two year old thoroughbred colts and geldings. It was first run in 1877 and is named after the Duke of Richmond, who’s family were the racing pioneers of Goodwood. It is always worth watching this one closely as it will give us those stars who could have big futures as three-year olds the following season.
That is highlighted by recent winners like Dick Turpin, he turned into a top class three-year old over a mile and his stable mate Harbour Watch will be aiming to give Richard Hannon another win in the race. He has won both his starts in fine fashion so far this year and he could be a potential star next season if he continues that trend here.
