04/12 - Horse Racing Market Movers
Horse Racing market movers are one of the key things that all punters watch very closely. Often in the build up to the major weekend races their are punts on a number of horses in the big events and these moves generally snowball as the news of these hot horse gains momentum. Once the prices begin to decline they are reported by the main tv stations including attheraces especially on their geton slot. Racing UK also puts a lot of focus on these moves and once they take hold then all the online bookies begin to reduce their prices very quickly. There is one key medium which has the most impact on market moves and that is Pricewise which is the Tom Segal section in the main racing journal.
03/12 - Tingle Creek Tip
Our Tingle Creek Chase Tip for this week's Grade One Tingle Creek betting chase may surprise one or two serious punters as few can look beyond Master Minded winning the race. The likelihood is that Master Minded will win, but making his seasonal reappearance in such a high quality race on difficult ground might not necessarily be the best thing for him.
03/12 - Tingle Creek Odds
The Tingle Creek odds for this weekends Grade One Tingle Creek betting Chase has the Paul Nicholls trained, Master Minded as resounding favourite to make a winning reappearance. There has been as much interest in the betting markets of who actually will get the ride, as Nicholls has been put into a quandary with the form and bad luck of his stable's number two jockey, Sam Thomas, who has been spending as much time getting up from the floor as he is getting on to a horse's back.
02/12 - Fighting Fifth Hurdle Tip
Our Fighting Fifth Hurdle tip for this week's WBX Fighting Fifth Hurdle betting race at Wetherby is actually the favourite, Punjabi. We make no apologies for tipping a favourite but we believe that the claims are too good to miss. Firstly, the Nicky Henderson yard cannot stop winning at the moment and they report that Punjabi is in super form at home. Secondly, the Fighting Fifth is one of Punjabis three targets this year, the others being the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton and finally the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham.
02/12 - Fighting Fifth Hurdle Odds
The Fighting Fifth Hurdle Odds for this week's Fighting Fifth Hurdle betting race now being staged at Wetherby after being cancelled at Newcastle last week, has the Nicky Henderson trained Punjabi as a distinct favourite in what has the makings of an excellent race and trial for bigger races to come later in the season. Punjabi, who was third in the 2008 Champion Hurdle, certainly justifies favouritism and will have Barry Geraghty on board
30/11 - Pricewise Horse Racing Tips
The Pricewse Horse racing tips from Tom Segal of the Racing Post have grown enormously in popularity since Segal took over the mantle from Mel Collier in the summer of 2001. Prior to that Segal had written horse racing articles as Spotform, also for the Racing Post and he also used to cover for Collier in his absences. Pricewise has had a terrific summer, with six consecutive successful Saturday tips and he remains the one tipster that the Bookmakers love to hate.
28/11 - Serabad For Relkeel Hurdle at Boylesports Cheltenham Meeting
The Boylesports Cheltenham meeting will be with us in a few weeks and with Peter Bowen's string in top form he has a major chance in the Relkeel Hurdle with Serabad. The extended two and a half-mile race is limited to novice and second season hurdlers and takes place at Cheltenham on Saturday, December 13, the second day of the prestigious two-day Boylesports International. Successful twice as a novice last season, Serabad chased home Franchoek in the Grade Two Wragge & Co Finesse Juvenile Hurdle at Cheltenham in January before returning to the course at The Festival in March when he finished a creditable sixth to Celestial Halo in the Grade One JCB Triumph Hurdle.
