Goodwood Stakes Betting 2011 - Hollins Takes the Win
The Goodwood stakes will be the 1st race on the card of Day 2 of Glorious Goodwood 2011 and looks set to get the day off with a bang. It was won in 2009 by Sweetheart at 8/1 and the 2011 edition should be every bit as exciting as punters look to get the day off to a good start. The race will feature some top class runners as always and should be a cracking way to start the day in Sussex.
The likely favourite for the race today is set to be Spirit Of Adjisa who is trained by Tim Vaughan, he isused to running over hurdles but rarely runs a bad race making him a short price with the bookmakers.

The longest race of the meeting saw Sweetheart and Tyrrells Wood jump out of the pack and they fought it out between them, it was Sweetheart that stayed on the better to claim the win. Swingkeel left his charge too late but stayed for fun as always.
