The Goodwood stakes will be the 1st race on the card of Day 2 of Glorious Goodwood 2010 and looks set to get the day off with a bang. It was won in 2009 by Sweetheart at 8/1 and the 2010 edition should be every bit as exciting as punters look to get the day off to a good start. The race will feature some top class runners as always and should be a cracking way to start the day in Sussex.

The longest race of the meeting saw Sweetheart and Tyrrells Wood jump out of the pack and they fought it out between them, it was Sweetheart that stayed on the better to claim the win. Swingkeel left his charge too late but stayed for fun as always.
