Golden Mile Betting 2012

The Golden Mile is destined to be a wide open handicap on Day Four of Glorious Goodwood as trainers look to send their horses on a quest to emulate last year's winner Sea Lord.

Sagramor heads the betting after winning the Britannia Handicap at Royal Ascot, but there will be a whole host of contenders in this intriguing contest. Dance and Dance will be high on the list for many after finishing second in the Royal Hunt Cup at the Royal meeting and connections will be hoping for  a clear run this time.

After going off a short-priced favourite Green Destiny disappointed favourite backers in the Wolferton Handicap and he will be looking for redemption in this tricky renewal.
