Waddesdon Wines Nursery Stakes 2012
The 5th Race on day four of Glorious Goodwood will be the Waddesdon Wines Nursery Stakes and will be run over 7f with a large field of around 20 runners. We had a good winner for Godolphin last year and Black Snowflake, they always have a strong hand at Goodwood and it would be no surprise to see them back with a live contender in the race in 2011.
Glee won last time out for Richard Hannon and with his yard in supreme form so far this season he could well another winner on his hands with this one, he will run in the same colours as Strong Suit and looks like the one to beat here.

Heading into the final couple of furlongs it was Gunner Lindley and Raine's Cross who were fighting it out for the win. However, the favourite Black Snowflake came from nowhere with Frankie on board to sneak the win on the line after a great ride by Dettori. You could have thrown a blanket over the first seven to the delight of the handicapper
