Classifed Stakes Betting 2012
The Classified Stakes is the last race on the card of Day 2 of the 2012 Glorious Goodwood meeting and should bring the curtain down on a fine days racing. The race was won by Firestreak in 2008 with Richard Hughes on board and Axiom last year for Frankie Dettori and Luca Cumani. Punters will be looking for one last chance to win their money back on day 2 so it will be hotly contested in the betting ring as you would expect in 2011.
Common Touch could well go off a well backed favourite for this one today, he goes for the Hanagan and Fahey yard and they will be looking to get one on the board at Goodwood this week with this nice type.

This was a tight race but Axiom steadily made his way through the field to take the win inside the final furlong ahead of the fast finishing Moynaham and Proclaim who claimed 3rd after a photo.
