Classifed Stakes Betting 2010

The Classified Stakes is the last race on the card of Day 2 of the 2010 Glorious Goodwood meeting and should bring the curtain down on a fine days racing. The race was won by Firestreak in 2008 with Richard Hughes on board and Axiom last year for Frankie Dettori and Luca Cumani. Punters will be looking for one last chance to win their money back on day 2 so it will be hotly contested in the betting ring as you would expect in 2010.

1st Axiom - L Cumani - F Dettori - 4/1
2nd Moynahan - P Cole - A Munro - 20/1
3rd Proclaim - M Johnston - R Ffrench - 9/1

This was a tight race but Axiom steadily made his way through the field to take the win inside the final furlong ahead of the fast finishing Moynaham and Proclaim who claimed 3rd after a photo.
